Intramural programs provide a great opportunity for those who don't have the time or abilities to compete in competitive university athletics. Many people also feel more motivated to exercise when they're playing in an organized program rather than following a personal fitness regimen.

Another clear benefit of playing intramural sports is the opportunity for socialization. Whether you're a new freshman looking to meet people and establish friendships, or you're a junior seeking to branch out of your group of friends, intramural sports forces you to get to know your teammates. Intramural organizations are also flexible and often don't have strict schedules. This allows students to make time for studying when final exams come around. No matter if you win or lose, the most important thing in life is to enjoy what you have.

"I think sportsmanship is knowing that it is a game, that we are only as a good as our opponents, and whether you win or lose, to always give 100 percent.:

In our school, we celebrated science month with different activities such as; Science quiz, Himig kalikasan, Science Tricks which I found it boring, since we did it so many times, so it’s kinda not new to us. I was expecting new science tricks but sad to say, there’s nothing new. Next is the Ginoo at Binibining Kalikasan. That’s the most highlight event during the science month celebration.Teachers also made an exhibit which is very nice since they displayed so many interesting science thing and it's interesting because it's new to me.

For me, as a SSC student. I could say that, there’s nothing new. Because since when I was in 7th grade, we’re already joining different science activities, such as the activities I’ve mentioned above. We were used to it, but I can say that it’s kinda fun. I think so.

HSM tend to boost the efficient implementation of the K to 12 basic education curriculum in the Ilocos provinces.

The movement seeks to promote every school in the region as a better and enjoyable place to study.

But In my perspective, Happy Schools Movement is about entertaining people. Make them smile and be amaze by just doing simple thing.

Some subject teachers required their students to pass an output to be displayed in the said HSM that was held in the Vigan Convention Center. Per department put up their own exhibit, showing their creativeness and originality such as displaying a lot of amazing projects made by the students, putting ornamental plants, Christmas lights and etc.

Selected students were given the chance to visit in the Vigan Convention Centre. But, even though it is open for everybody, Coordinators still preserved the orderliness and peacefulness of the event that went well. I, myself would admit that I’m amazed by that event. The exhibit made us say “wow” and that event made us smile, made us happy. I believe that every experience, there’s a lesson to learn. And aslo, “ Happiness is a choice, not demand”

And in the afternoon, the history of Vigan comes alive via a parade of floats showing the different periods starting from the entry of Chinese merchants to the coming of Spaniards, the Japanese, the Americans, the indepence of the country, until the city was listed as a World Heritage City and one of the New Seven Wonders Cities of the World.
This year Ilocano culture will be celebrated through competitions among the youth and elderlies in vocal chorus, vocal solo, photography called fotografias y recuerdos, stage play called zarzuela Ilocana, spoken poetry called dallot, singing with a guitar called kinnantaran, letras y figuras, on-the-spot painting, speech choir in Filipino called sabayang pagbigkas, poetry called daniw, story telling, cultural quiz bowl, folk dance, local debate called bukanegan, and solidarity games.
